QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS FOR RESIDENCY

The following guidelines for residency have been set and approved by the General Council of Baptist Mid-Missions.  Final approval for residency comes from the Administrative Committee of Baptist Mid-Missions after all conditions have been met.

       1.  Members of the Baptist Mid-Missions Family

                   Term of service required:  15 years

                   All Missionaries, Home Office personnel and staff, General Council Members

        2.  Members of Baptist Mission Boards of Like Faith and Practice

                   Term of service required: 15 years

                    Subject to an application process and approval

         3.  Pastors who have served in Baptist Churches of Like Faith and Practice

                    Term of service required: 20 years in an Independent Baptist Church

                     Subject to an application process and approval

         4.  Professors and Staff of Baptist Colleges and Universities of Like Faith and Practice

                      Term of service required:  20 years

                       Subject to an application process and  approval

All applicants and residents of Missionary Acres must be in agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of Faith of Baptist Mid-Missions and will be asked to do so in writing as a condition of residency.
