A. Pray for our residents.  You can meet each one on the "Meet the Residents" page.  Each one has special needs.  Pray for God's provisions for their daily needs as well as for health and strength to continue serving the Lord.

B.  Pray that God would lead the right retirees here to Missionary Acres.

C. Pray for the staff of Missionary Acres. Pray that God would grant wisdom to the Administrator as he leads this ministry forward.  Pray for the health, strength and financial needs of each staff member.

D. Pray for additional Staff needed immediately.  We are asking God to lead  a couple (or 2) to Missionary Acres who could come and serve in a Second Vocation ministry.  This would be ideal for a couple who has just retired, is self supporting and looking for a special way to continue serving the Lord in their retirement.

 E. Pray that  the Lord would provide the funds needed to complete a new house for the Waldens who are on staff here.  They also need to see the Lord supply an increase in their personal support.

A. Pray for 50 Churches/individuals who would begin supporting Missionary Acres for $1.00/day. This seems like such a small amount and yet this many folks giving that amount would increase our annual budget by 50%!  At present, we have 5 families giving to this need.

 B. Special Needs:

                1. Pick-up Truck: Our present truck is 14 years old and is beginning to age rapidly.  We would like to be able to purchase a late model 3/4 ton pick-up with low miles.  Estimated need: $10,000

               2. Baptist Mid-Missions Retreat House: We would like to establish/build a house that would be used as a Retreat Home for Pastors/Missionaries who need to get away from it all and have a place of quiet and rest.  The house would be completely furnished and offered on a donation basis.  Estimated need: $5000.00

                3.  Heat Pump Replacement: We have an immediate need to replace 3 units that are over 25 years old!  Our maintenance company has told us that they are failing fast!  Estimated cost:  $3,500.00 each.

                4.  Sidewalk Replacement:  Our sidewalk around the park is deteriorating after 30 years of use.  We would like to begin replacing it as volunteers are available.  Estimated cost: $5.00/foot.  Would you like to donate 10 feet?  20 feet? This is a great project for a Sunday School Class.

C. Volunteers!

Missionary Acres is the result of God's provision and the hard work of hundred's of  volunteer workers who have come here over the past 40 years!

Perhaps you could come spend a week, or two, or three (or more!) and help the staff with whatever they happen to be doing at the time of your visit.       

Groups are also welcome and encouraged to come.  Perhaps you have thought about your  men at church going on a Missions Trip.  Why not bring them to Missionary Acres.  The  Acres has been the launching pad for a number of Men's groups who have gone overseas.    Housing is provided but all groups and individuals are responsible for providing their own  meals.

Projects for groups to work on depend on finances available and specific needs at     the  time of the groups' visit.  Some groups have even raised funds so that they could do a specific project while they are here.
